The Global Health 50/50 seeks applications for its Gender and Disability Photography & Visual Arts Competition to explore disability as the product of social, institutional, architectural and representational systems that invoke different forms of participation of people with physical and cognitive differences in society.
In partnership with CREA, this initiative seeks to spotlight untold stories, challenge perspectives, and address critical gaps in representation from diverse communities across the world. Now in its fifth year, This is Gender has already engaged over 4,000 artists from 85 countries. The 2025 edition aims to be the largest yet, fostering even greater participation and awareness.
How to Enter
Submissions are simple: share an image along with details about its creation, your background, and the story behind the work. Each artist may submit up to three images per sub-category.
