On May 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM CET the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) is inviting you to take part in the online multi-stakeholder meeting as part of the HIV and Mental Health project.
This meeting will bring together stakeholders from the community, healthcare sector, industry, research, and agencies to discuss ways in which to improve the HIV related continuum of care by integrating intervention to improve the mental health and well-being of people living with or most affected by HIV.
- The session will start with a review of EATG research on the interplay between HIV, mental health, and well-being, and how community organisations in Europe and Central Asia tackle these issues. A set of recommendations addressed to different stakeholders will be presented to discussion.
- In the second part of the meeting, participants will be invited to share their views on how best to provide mental health support services to persons living with or at risk of acquiring HIV in healthcare facilities and in the community. Different stakeholders will be invited to reflect on what specific contribution they can make to improve the mental health and well-being of people living with or at risk of acquiring HIV and frequently associated co-infections.
- By the end of the meeting, points for follow-up by different stakeholders will have been identified.
