AFEW Russia prepared the report “Cooperation of HIV-service NCOs with business structures” based on the results of the survey of NCOs working in the field of HIV prevention. The purpose of the survey was to analyze the existing positive experience of involvement of business structures in combating the spread of HIV in Russia by HIV-service NGOs.
The results of the survey showed that among the majority of HIV-service NCOs that have experience in working with business structures, participation in competitions initiated by large businesses is the main way to obtain financial support from the business community. Also, the majority of respondents (75%) experience certain difficulties in establishing interaction with representatives of the business community, including difficulties in establishing contacts and communication with representatives of business structures, and the presence of prejudices towards support from the business community.
