
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with funding from the European Union (EU) in Georgia, is pleased to announce a grant competition for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) under the joint initiative “Human Rights for All.”
This Call for Proposals aims to strengthen civil society’s role in advancing human rights, promoting non-discrimination, and ensuring equal access to justice and protection for all across Georgia.
Focus Areas
The grant competition includes three key focus areas:
✅ Lot 1: Protecting Fundamental Freedoms
- Supporting freedom of expression and peaceful assembly
- Providing strategic litigation, legal aid, and psychological support
- Conducting rights monitoring, advocacy, and policy initiatives
- Empowering rights holders through capacity-building and awareness campaigns
✅ Lot 2: Promoting Equality and Inclusion
- Advocating for the rights of minorities and vulnerable groups (ethnic/religious minorities, persons with disabilities, LGBTQI+ individuals, etc.)
- Providing specialized legal aid and strategic litigation in discrimination cases
- Conducting public awareness campaigns on diversity and inclusion
- Building capacity for duty-bearers and rights holders
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants must:
✔ Be a non-profit civil society organization registered in Georgia
✔ Have experience working on human rights
✔ Have at least one year of operational experience and the capacity to implement the proposed activities
