AFEW International attended the first Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (CSF) Civil Society Summit in Vienna, Austria.
This summit gathered over 250 representatives from civil society organizations and decision-makers from both the Eastern Partnership (EaP) and the European Union (EU) to discuss the future of multilateral cooperation within the EaP and the role of civil society in shaping it.
The Eastern Partnership region is home to many underserved populations who continue to face barriers in accessing healthcare and essential social services. The role of AFEW International, as part of a global network of civil society actors, is to ensure that these communities are not left behind in the pursuit of sustainable development and regional stability. Through this summit, we seek to further the conversation on how civil society can drive meaningful change in the region, advocating for policies that prioritize human rights, public health, and social inclusion for all. Our commitment to advocating for the health and rights of underserved communities in Eastern Partnership countries remains unwavering.
