AFEW International was proud to participate in the ISS Career Day 2024, held on November 1st at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in The Hague. This dynamic event, organized in collaboration with the ISS Alumni Network and the student council SCHOLAS, was designed to bridge the gap between ISS students, recent graduates, alumni, and organizations committed to global change.
The ISS Career Day was a unique opportunity to connect with students and alumni from over 70 countries, each bringing a wealth of diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to impactful, global careers. The event not only showcased the work of various organizations, including AFEW International, but also facilitated meaningful interactions among attendees through an array of interactive sessions and networking opportunities.
It was a pleasure to connect with a community of globally-minded students and professionals, each driven to make a meaningful impact in global health. The event provided an invaluable platform for us to introduce our mission and share our ongoing projects with passionate individuals ready to embark on impactful careers. Engaging with these emerging leaders allowed us to exchange insights, discuss the challenges and rewards of our work, and inspire a new generation to contribute to health equity and social change.
