On November 13-15, HEPHIV 2023 conference will be held in Madrid, Spain.
The main theme of the HepHIV2023 Conference focuses on progress and implementation of integrated testing, new technologies and ensuring equity in the delivery of HIV, viral hepatitis and STI services.
The conference will bring together stakeholders from all levels of the health system, from community organisations to health care providers and policy makers to present and discuss new approaches for testing and linkage to care for HIV, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and tuberculosis (TB), highlighting programmatic/implementation issues and adaptation of testing services in response to emerging public health issues.
Main conference objectives
1. Provide an overview of progress in prevention, testing and linkage to care for HIV, viral hepatitis, STIs and TB and integrated approaches by discussing current gaps in implementation and sharing models of good practice to address identified barriers.
2. Provide an overview of HIV, viral hepatitis, STIs and TB-related operational research, highlighting both programmatic and implementation challenges and exploration and strategies to overcome these challenges.
3. Discuss innovative initiatives/strategies and technologies for prevention, earlier testing and care for the different infections for key population, in particular mobile populations and migrants.
4. Discuss the impact of stigma and strategies to mitigate it on testing services and link to care procedures for HIV, viral hepatitis, STIs and TB.
The call for abstracts for HepHIV 2023 will open 26 May 2023 and close on the 26 July 2023. The latebreaker submission will open 28 August 2023 and close 15 September 2023.
