Share-Net is looking for a variety of different art works which share lived experiences of the effects of COVID-19 on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
Introduction
Share-Net International (SNI) is the knowledge platform on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). SNI is a membership network of non-governmental organisations, researchers, policy makers, implementers, advocates, students, the media and companies operating in the SRHR field, working closely with a wide range of partners across the globe. Share-Net International aims to strengthen linkages between research, policy and practice through sharing, generating, translating and promoting the use of knowledge for the development of better policies and practices in SRHR.
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in serious impacts on the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights of populations around the globe while simultaneously exacerbating gender inequities in societies. In order to help spotlight the extent of this and to support the art community, Share-Net International aims to launch a digital archive of creative materials which highlights the effects and impact that COVID-19 has had on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights since its outbreak while also providing a space for those whose experiences and voices have been silenced in the response. Furthermore, the materials will then be available on our website for the use of our members.
Criteria
•Share-net is looking for a variety of different works which share lived experiences of the effects of COVID-19 on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.
•Share-net accepts all kinds of creative forms (original writings, paintings, poems, graphics or short movies for example)
•Share-net highly encourages submissions from: sex workers, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+community, indigenous communities, people of colour and young people.
•Permission from the artist to allow Share-Net members to use the artworks and creativematerials for advocacy purposes
•Submissions can be in any language but we ask for English subtitles to be included
•Submissions must be sent in a digital format that we can upload onto our website
•Submissions must not have been used or shared for other projects or campaigns

To apply, please send your creative work by email to Nicole Moran at n.moran@kit.nl and Maria Codina at m.codina@kit.nl along with the following information:
• Name
• Age
• Country of residence
• Title of art work
• Short introduction about yourself and the submission you are sending
• Art work in a digital format
• Any extra details which you would like to include in your biography on the gallery (eg. Pronouns, links to personal websites/ social media or links to venmo/patreon accounts)
Deadline to apply
27th of November 2020
All submissions that are selected to be featured in the gallery will receive a payment of 200 euro for their work and Share-net is happy to include artists’ payment links in the gallery so that its members can make voluntary contributions.
