HIV voluntary counselling and rapid testing point will be opened on December 1, 2016 in Qurghonteppa, Tajikistan. Testing
AFEW executive director Anke van Dam became the chair of Wolfheze Working Group on TB/HIV collaborative activities. The group will document and promote the best models and identify research priorities of integrated TB/HIV care in the European region. Members of the group will also identify barriers in TB/HIV services and collaboration.
AFEW International director Anke van Dam announced about the possibility to apply for grants that will support their research. Grants for community based organizations and community members will be announced soon.
There was a great interest for this training, we received more than 200 applications. Those organizations that were not selected to attend the training will be able to access all the information online. The online e-learning course that will be available from February 2017 onwards.
At the meeting, partners have developed activities based on common challenges and discussed methods of communication when working together. Organizations that work with different key populations plan to set up a Google group for the permanent exchange of information and will carry out such partnership meetings on an annual basis.

European HIV-Hepatitis Testing Week offers partners across Europe the opportunity to unite to increase awareness of the benefits of HIV and hepatitis testing among those who are at risk. In 2015, more than 400 organisations from across 53 countries took part in testing week and thousands more people are now aware of their HIV and hepatitis status.
