The Elton John AIDS Foundation launched a new COVID-19 Emergency Fund that can protect the people the Foundation have always sought to serve through HIV care, treatment and prevention, as well as mitigating the damage that COVID-19 can do.

OVERVIEW OF CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
With this announcement, the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s COVID-19 Emergency Fund is accepting applications for solutions that have strong potential to address specific challenges that have arisen for people already living with or at severe risk of HIV/AIDS and who are now at heightened risk as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Such solutions should aim to demonstrably mitigate the threat of COVID-19 on maintaining current levels of access or increasing access to HIV-related prevention, testing, care and treatment adherence services.

To submit an application to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, please complete this application form and budget template, and email both along with your most recent audited accounts to covid19@ejaf.org by April 23, 2020 at 5:59 PM GMT, with the subject line “COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND – YOUR ORGANIZATION’S NAME”. Applications submitted via post, facsimile, or other form will not be accepted.
